Would you like pay a unique visit to the mine building in Waterschei? You can! In the spring and summer, former miners will be your guide. They’ll spice up the tours with some personal recollections. With the additional help of film, visual material and mining objects, you’ll really get to an insight into the rich history of Genk and of this mining site.
When are the tours?
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday (for individual visitors): 1:30 and 3:30 pm
- Group visits (min. 10 ppl.) are always possible by appointment, one week in advance
